Positive, Personalised, and Progressing Toward Water Safety Education.
Parent and Baby Classes
Our Learn to Swim Program is designed to gently introduce babies and toddlers to the aquatic environment while equipping parents with the knowledge and confidence to support their child's early swimming journey. Across three progressive levels, students develop essential water skills, gain independence, and build confidence for lifelong water safety.

Water Babies (4-6 months) – Focuses on parent education, teaching how to support baby’s movements, use cues for breath control, safely submerge, and practice skills at home.

Aquatots – (6 months to 18 months) Shifts focus to the child, reinforcing water familiarisation, introducing word associations, and developing key reflexes into learned water safety skills. Fun equipment is introduced to engage and challenge students.

Jellyfish (18 months - 2.5 years) – Builds independence by transitioning parents out of the pool. Students learn to wait, share, follow instructions, and develop fundamental swimming skills while gaining confidence with their teacher and peers.

Independent Swimming Lessons
Our Independent Swimming Program is designed to progress students from fundamental water safety skills to stroke development and survival techniques. Each level builds confidence, fitness, and essential life-saving skills, ensuring children develop strong swimming foundations while fostering independence in the water.

Squid – Focuses on water safety rules, independent entries and exits, floating, submersion, pop-up breathing, and survival sequences. Students learn to recognise dangers and seek help in an emergency.

Starfish – Reinforces strong kicking, breathing, body position, and stamina while ensuring mastery of fundamental safety and survival skills. Hazards in various aquatic environments are introduced.

This program ensures children build confidence, refine technique, and develop life-saving skills for safe, independent swimming.

Stroke Development & Endurance
Our Stroke Development level builds on Seahorse foundations, introducing the butterfly stroke while refining technique, fine motor skills, and coordination. Graduates can swim 100m using correct technique in freestyle (bi-lateral), backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly; respond to emergencies with a primary assessment (DRSABC, calling for help, recovery position, and CPR on a manikin); perform the HELP and huddle techniques for 2 minutes each; and complete age-appropriate non-swimming rescues, including using non-rigid techniques.
The Swim Excellence level is the final stage of our Learn to Swim Program, focusing on stroke technique, fitness, and stamina to prepare students for school and club carnivals and recreational aquatic activities. Graduates can swim 200m with correct technique, including tumble turns, starts, finishes, and IM performance; float, scull, or tread water for 5 minutes while signaling for help; perform age-appropriate non-swimming rescues using non-rigid techniques; and respond to emergencies with a primary assessment, including DRSABC, calling for help, recovery position, and CPR on a manikin.

Adaptive Aquatics
Our Adaptive Aquatics program is designed for students of any age who require additional assistance and personalised instruction to develop water safety, survival skills, and swimming technique at their own pace. This program supports individuals who may need more time, modifications, or specialised teaching approaches to build confidence and achieve mastery in the water.
With a focus on individual progress and tailored learning, Adaptive Aquatics provides a supportive and flexible environment for students who may experience challenges in traditional group lessons. Whether due to sensory sensitivities, motor skill development, anxiety around water, or other specific needs, our experienced instructors work closely with families to create a customised learning plan that aligns with each student’s abilities and goals.

Lessons are available in 1:1 or 2:1 private formats, ensuring a low-distraction setting where students receive direct guidance and encouragement. Instructors maintain ongoing communication with families to track progress, adjust lesson plans, and celebrate achievements, ensuring each student builds essential water skills with patience, care, and consistency.
This program is ideal for those requiring extended support over six weeks or longer, allowing ample time to refine technique, develop confidence, and establish essential safety skills that will serve them for a lifetime.
